Fundraising Focus
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported the foodbank with kind donations.
This month we’d like to focus on a great local initiative which not only is a fun filled night out but also supports the Foodbank, and other local charities.
On the last Wednesday of every month the Kings Head at Docklow hold a quiz night, as part of their programme of regular events. The local teams battle it out amid much raucous laughter to become the evening’s champions. Part of the general merriment is a raffle, with proceeds going to several local charities including Midlands Air Ambulance, St. Michaels Hospice, Bromyard Lions, and the Bromyard Foodbank.
Paul English, the landlord says,” The Kings Head would like to thank all our customers and quiz attendees for their generosity raising money in support of Bromyard Food Bank and other local charities.”
Recently the winning teams have also donated their cash prizes to the nominated charities, so another big thank you to them.

The Foodbank is a lifeline for those in need.
