Brockhampton Minutes
Present: Clive Brazier (Chairman), 0 parishioners
In attendance: David Hunter-Miller (Clerk), Pete Stoddart (Ward Councillor), 5 members of the public
1. Chairman’s welcome
Clive Brazier opened the meeting and welcomed attendees.
2. Apologies for absence
No apologies were received.
3. To approve the minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on Wednesday 15th May 2024
It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes and they were duly signed by the Chair.
4. Matters arising from those minutes (if any)
There were no matters arising.
5. To receive the Annual Report of the Parish Council by the Chairman
We were sorry to lose two councillors, Councillor Peter Lane and Councillor Karen Rock, and we wish them well for the future.
There has been vandalism of the parish council’s bus shelters. Thanks to Nigel Shaw for his work repairing the bus shelter at Bringsty and to George Johnson for his work removing the graffiti from the bus shelter at Linton.
Thank you to the Footpaths Officer, Gwen Dumpleton for all the improvements to the footpath network.
Thank you to the Lengthsman, George Johnson, for his work. The A44 has improved a lot and looks much better now.
Lastly thank you to all the councillors, the Ward Councillor, and the Clerk for their efforts and contributions this year.
